Aristotle introduced the philosophical concept of the Four Causes in *Metaphysics* to explain the existence and change of things. To fully understand something, it must be examined through four different causes: the material cause, the formal cause, the efficient cause, and the final cause.
The process of artistic creation can likewise be understood through these four aspects. In this group exhibition, the four artists—Muran, ATI Chen Tai-Hua, Chang Yu-Hsien, and Tsai Wei-Ting—employ four different creative media and forms to interpret their own artistic ideas, as well as to realize their personal values and goals.
Through this exhibition, viewers can gain a more comprehensive understanding of both the artists and artistic creation. Art cannot be defined or categorized solely through a binary opposition between the material and the spiritual; rather, it can be diverse while also rigorous and profound. Art holds infinite possibilities, yet it is not an unattainable presence.
