GALERIE OVO, established in Taipei in 2012, serves as a platform for the exchange of art, technology, and
sustainable humanities. Located in the city center, the gallery presents exhibitions of established and
emerging artists that represent the vitality of Asian art. The name “OVO,” meaning “the Origin” in Latin,
reflects its pursuit of being a medium where art and people meet. Gallery Director Julia Tung emphasizes
dialogue, collaboration, and technological integration, while actively engaging in diverse projects that
promote sustainability and the SDGs.
