In his solo exhibition in 2022, Rooo Lou exhibited works he painted during the pandemic. Looking back on those works, he realized that many of them depicted mainly imaginary figures from foreign lands, attributing this form of creation to a sense of stagnation imposed by the prevailing circumstances. In this exhibition 〈I FEEL BETTER THAN BEFORE〉, the subjects of his creation are derived from the familiar figures and ordinary daily life scenes caught by his eyes in the post-pandemic world. Rooo Lou believes that all of the paintings in this exhibition convey a good sense of relaxation, yet possess a strong core.
