林熺俊LIN Hsi-Chun

林熺俊，1960年出生於台北，中原大學室內設計研究所碩士畢業，曾任高苑科技大學建築系助理教授。長期參與南部的文化藝術推廣，曾創辦南方藝術雜誌，並擔任藝術總監；曾任高雄藝術聯盟及現代畫學會理事長。他衝破保守年代的藝術思維，積極參與公共藝術與景觀設計，改造了中央公園的景觀，點燃了城市光廊的高雄都市意象，同時也是高雄駁二藝術特區創始人之一。

結合其以往公共藝術與景觀設計的靈感，林熺俊的繪畫著重於造型空間與光影氛圍的探索，藉由點線面塊狀和色彩達到創意的互動，形成獨特的結構與秩序，給人以多重時空交錯匯聚的抽象空間感，創造了豐富情愫的詩性空間。

Lin Hsi-Chun, who was born in Taipei in 1960, was graduated with a master degree from the Institute of Interior Design of Chung Yuan Christian University. He has been involved in the promotion of southern culture and art for a long time. He founded the Southern Art Magazine and served as the art director; he was the chairman of the Kaohsiung Art Alliance and the Modern Painting Society. He broke through the artistic thinking of the conservative era, actively participated in public art and landscape design, renewed the landscape of the Central Park, and revitalized the Kaohsiung urban image with the ” Urban Spotlight Arcade “. He is also one of the founders of the Kaohsiung Pier-2 Art Center.

Combining his previous public art and landscape design inspirations, Lin Hsi-Chun ‘s paintings focus on the exploration of space structure and light & shadow reflecting. He uses dots, lines, blocks and colors to achieve creative interaction, forming a unique structure and order in his paintings, giving people multiple time and space feelings. The interlaced abstract sense of space creates a poetic space of rich sentiment.
