80s is the first generation entering into digital world. The most digital media, such as computer, were popular in our generation on. At the same time, lots of analog electrical appliances were redundant, Analog radio, for example, rotary telephone, cassette tape player, rotary phone and so on. They are valuable nowadays because of the memory, not only the appreciation in market, but the memory. People when pick up an old electrical appliance, they may think about the time of using those equipment or some funny scenario.
Is the appearance important? Even, the appearance is changed, those sound, memory, quality are still in our mind.
In this exhibition, The artist would like to clarify our motivation by using analog electrical equipment. When the audiences visit the exhibition, they can share with their families, which is far important to looking after their appearance.
